Pricing and Scheduling:

Sound interesting? Let’s work together!

Email me at techy@detectionengineering.net for more information on pricing and getting your ad on the newsletter schedule.

What I’ll share after your ad is placed:

Newsletter posts have an initial surge on the publication date (Wednesdays) and have several smaller surges throughout the week. So, after seven days, I will email you:

  • Unique Email Opens (total) vs. recipients

  • Total # of clicks on your sponsored link

  • Social Media Engagement analytics for my post on LinkedIn and Twitter

I will not share the following

  • My subscriber list

  • Who specifically (emails, reader attribution) clicked your link

Sponsorship terms:

  • I will be placing the ad in section(s) of the newsletter that clearly indicate that it is a sponsored section

  • I may or may not reference your company in parts of the newsletter

    • Example: you sponsor a section, and separately, your company releases a blog post. I may place the blog post inside the newsletter

    • Example: you sponsor a section, and separately, your company is in the news. I may place the news article inside the newsletter, regardless of how it paints your company

  • I may refuse to work with any company without cause

Newsletter Tenets:

To make things a little easier, I’ve published the following tenets. If your organization’s values align with mine, we should definitely work together! 🙂

  1. The newsletter will always be free to readers.

  2. This newsletter will showcase all kinds of voices and opinions, and bring a diversity of thought into the fold.

  3. Newsletter content must:

    1. be actionable and helpful to readers

    2. feature people or organizations who are improving the state of security and/or the art of detection engineering

    3. come from someone who is not a jerk

  4. At least 95% of the content in each newsletter will contain information that anyone can use without buying a product or service.

  5. Sponsored content will always be marked.
